‘Depression’ this word is common now. I think this era is more stressful in comparison to other past eras. Nobody can deny to accept that depression is everywhere. At work or in day-to-day life, everyone experiences depression. Life would be simple if our needs could always be satisfied. We have a lot of needs and expectations. If we are failed to fulfill our needs and situations become unexpected then we will depressed.
Meaning
Depression is a condition in which a person suffers from a disorder which affects health mentally and physically. A depressed person has lack of happiness, and loss of interest in entertainment, feeling down etc.

In this condition one’s have no idea that whats going in entire world. Today a large population is suffering from this disorder. In a survey of WHO (World Health Organisation) more women are affected by depression than men. More than 300 million people of all ages are depressed. Many times depression results may be lead to suicide. It creates, a distance between the person and its relatives. A depressed person has lack of confidence, which affects his ability and Self-esteem.
Causes of Depression
Bad Habits
Everybody has one bad habit which disturbs his or her daily routine. Many problems rise with bad habits. If you have a liquor habit then is affects health, If you have habit of sleep at late night then it affects your time. Many times we will get defeated in front of our habits.If their bad habits will not change then it results depression.

Expectations
Sometimes our expectations becomes the cause of our depression. Many times We make a lot of expectations from our peoples, but when they brake our expectations it may be affects our mentality. We know that situations may not be under control still we make expectations from situations.

Many Problems Come Together
We can face some problems easily, but when we find ourselves surrounded by many problems then we get stuck in solving all problems. We take load of all the problems together. Our brain works in many directions and If this continues then we get depressed.
Major Illness
As we know that If our health is good then our brain works well. When we facing a major illness then it causes many problems, like feeling tired all time, reduce diet etc. If it continues then it affects our mental power like remember things, lack of interest in entertainment etc. Slowly slowly it converts into depression.
An Unforgettable Incident
In our life we face many incidents, but sometimes we face some incidents which affects our life badly. Some peoples have lack of power to forget or face those incidents by which they get depressed. This is the main cause of depression.
Goal is not achieved
Everybody has a goal in their life. People make their goals, to fulfill their needs and to make their life happier. But when they fail in achieving their goals then it affects them mentally as well as physically. Than they have a lack of confidence and lack of ability in his work.

Lose Someone
In our life we connected to each other by relation and emotion. But some people plays an important role in our life. They are connected with us through heart. If they are not being together with us or die then it would be like a shock for us. We can’t forget that person easily. If it will continues, then we will in a state of depression.

Management of Depression
Participation in Physical Activities
When you face a depression, you should engage yourself in regular physical activity or exercise. This can manage depression effectively and efficiently. Aerobic exercises are good for reducing stress or depression. Physical activity produce a lot of energy to face such type of problems. Physical activity increase mental sharpness and improve self-esteem. It also increases the qualities like mental alertness and emotional stability. It improve your fitness which differs you from others in society. It improves a unique attitude towards life.

Stop Negative Thinking
Stop negative thoughts such as ” I am not worthy ” or ” Nobody loves me “. Instead of these negative thoughts, think positively such as ” Your day will come “, “Never give up “. Sometimes you notice that you have no interest in your hobbies when you are sad, and smile on small things when you are happy. It means sadness and happiness both depends on you and your thoughts. So in each and every situation you should have positive thoughts in your mind.

Meditation
Meditation can be used for managing depression. Meditation improve one’s quality of life when practiced regularly. It relieves in anxiety and stress, and cure many mental problems. In meditation our focus is on our breathe only. It helps to reduce sleep disturbances. Meditation make a balance between our work and calmness. Our memory and sharpness of mind can be improves by meditation. It also prevents from several diseases of heart and lungs problems.
Develop New Hobbies
As we know that, in depression there is loss of interest in entertainment. Our mind does not work because of disturbances. It works only in remembering the reason behind depression. So we need to transform it from depression to learning new skills like swimming, yoga, blogging etc. It helps in forgetting the depression. We should continues learning new skills in whole life.

Reading Religious Books
While we getting stuck in a problem, then we should remember God who created the entire world. Remembering the God is a type of feeling which calm our mind. It also change our focus from depression to learning new skills. Sometimes these books create a new path and open all door for us. We can connect with God through these books. Our soul and mind are purify, if we read our religious books atleast once in a week.

Make New Friends or Spent Time with Your Friends
We all are busy in our work and we have no time to spent with our friends, relatives etc. There are some chances of depression, if we doing work without taking holiday or break. If we have some good Friends, then it is the most precious gift of God. When we are in our friend circle, we forget all problems of life. In short, the real happiness comes with gossip or enjoy with friends. Relationships, Professional, Social Awareness, Health are the main parts of our life. We have to make balance between all these parts. A little mistake can ruin our life. So “Always don’t worry and be happy”.
